This dude has a stack of new old stock Ibanez floor controller units for sale on ebay. FC-40 for DMD2000 as well as IFC60 and DMI4 which seem to be midi controllers. It's all in Italian so if anyone can check it out/translate and let me know what the IFC60 and DMI4 are good for I'd appreciate it.http://search.stores.ebay.com.au/ELECTRONIC-BAZAR_ibanez_W0QQfciZ5QQfclZ4QQfsnZE LECTRONICQ20BAQ5AARQQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftsZ2QQsaselZ37368878QQsofpZ0 http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7388157805 |

Very interesing. I wonder how they got so many?? Anyway, I can shed some light on the IFC-60. It's a foot controller designed to work with certain Ibanez rackmount devices such as the EPP-400 and the SDR1000/1000+ units. The EPP-400 is an effects loop switcher. The SDR1000 is a digital reverb unit. They are both excellent. The IFC-60 connects to either unit and allows one to select the current program via foot. I'm not sure if it's a true midi controller. It has a funky DIN connector that's unlike others and finding a cable for it is very difficult. The EPP-400 has a connector for the IFC-60 and another connector for 3rd-party midi controllers which leads me to believe that it's non-standard in terms of midi. Anyway...if you have an EPP400 or SDR1000, then it's a good way to go. If you have a non-Ibanez midi device, I'd think twice about purchasing the IFC-60. btw...I contacted Ibanez and then sent me tons of info on the IFC-60, including a schematic. They may have more information on the other two items. mk |
