Hey! Just got a few questions about this multi effect pedal system. I presently own one and I'm just looking for any helpful hints on how to get the best sound out of it. What sequence should I use for the effects? It has an overdrive, compressor, phaser and flanger/chorus. I have recently began to fool around with it and would like any advice on how to set it up to sound great! I'm fairly new to electric guitar.. So any help in setting up my effects would be great! Thanks, Russell |

Hey Russell i have this unit as well as the UE-405 together in a double rack case i use the Overdrive first then compressor(For a TRey or Phish Like sound) with phaser and Flanger after that try it see if you like it, the UE-405 has Analog Delay, Compressor Stereo Chorus and paremetric EQ the Delay is nice these are sleepers and not to expensive yet! have fun hope that helps Ralph |

Nice choice for just starting out, you won't get a better sounding unit. I regret selling mine. I agree with Roadartstar's order. The usual effects order is distortion/overdrive stuff then modulation stuff (phaser, flanger, chorus etc in any order to suit your own taste) then time based effects last (delay followed by reverb if you use both). If your amp has an effects loop, the distortion should go into the front of the amp and all the others in the effects loop. If you can grab yourself one of the Ibanez rack delays off ebay (AD100, AD202, Time Machine) you'll have one of the best effects rigs going. |
