Hi Mats,

I have been looking for one myself for ages. Can you tell us a bit about the sounds this pedal generates? How does it compare to the TS-9 for example?

I will bring my pedal to a friend who has a TS-9 and have him play them both, and I will report back here when its done. I'm sure lots of others have made this test before and can post their findings here perhaps?

I had a ST-9 Super Tubescreamer at home this weekend and made a comparison with my SD-9. Simply put I think the ST-9 is a better sounding pedal. Better control over the sound and dist level, and it leaks less than my SD. I'm very happy with my Sonic Distortion but if I had to choose between them I would go with the Super Tubescreamer.

Opened the ST-9 up and found two JRC-4558D's, no wonder it's a better sounding pedal ;)
