After Discovering that my GB10 was actually a GB10JS the Korean knock off, I bought it back to the Music store where I bought it and confronted them with it. The owner of the store was absolutly great about it, he exchanged it for the GB10 he just got to replace the one I bought (this ones the real deal)oh yeah there's only one problem with the new one, some guy named George Benson scribbled his name all over the top of it Imagine that.Turns out the owner knows George and had him autograph it at one of his casino shows. So my hats off to the guys at CHERRY'S MUSIC thanx Tony you certainly got My business. |

What are the significant differences between the GB10 and the GB10JS? |

Scott: According to a '98 catalog, the bridge is rosewood and not ebony. Otherwise, the written specs are the same. The noticeable differences in the pictures are: different control knobs (no sure-grips), pearl "button" tuners rather than the pearl "M" shaped ones. I believe they are made in Korea. Whether the electronics and wood selection is of lesser quality, I don't know. |

JohnS: Thanks.... that pretty much reinforces what I'm finding out as well. I just purchased one at auction and will give a review when it arrives. |
