OK, just wondering on Ibanez pickups, will it always say on the bottom side of the pick ups, SUPER 58. SUPER 70 etc etc, thanks, jazzzz |

In the world of Ibanez, nothing is ALWAYS !! From my experience, original Japanese Super58's have the bottom stamped. The later versions of these may not. Early (cream coloured) V2's have the stamping. The later black bobbin type do not. Early Super70's have an inked number. Later versions may not have ANY markings. The Bear |

I removed my pickup a while back and it was stamped. I can't recall exactly but it was either "70" or "Super 70". Mine is a 1978. |
