(First make a filler of maple sawdust and Titebond for the screwholes). I can understand that someone chooses tuning stability, but has he replaced perfect Super 58's with their beautiful gold covers by a pair of uncovered Duncans? Very good observation Jerry! I think he installed a nut lock after the headstock broke off, just to reduce the traction from nut to the angled headstock. And THEN you need fine-tuners in the tail. He probably already sold the gold Pro Rock'r and the Super 58's. I can't say it's a bad solution, given the situation. I remember the holes drilled in the neck. Also, these pics were taken from another auction - the seller probably bought it from and iSoldIt eBay auction.
