It Looks Like a winner. i need to sell off a Gibby lp studio.. in the next week or so. after that i want to get something like this.. is this a good price? i want an am50-as100 will have about $800 to spend.. wish i had the cash now cause i like the look of this one |

I think it's a good price. The 83 model has a nice neck profile. The 82's have pointy ears and a thinner neck, while the 83's have rounded ears and thicker neck. Was this a factory change? Can anyone shed some light on this? |

Worse than the non-original tail and knobs are the holes on the top. |

This is true. But, im interseted in a player. I want a good guitar. For a fair price. One that i can take out 2-3 nights a week and attack. My Rick 360 looks like it has been dragged from a truck, and i luv her for it. That being said. I agree the holes do suck.. |

Brucifer, Have you considered AS103? If possible, go to a music store and give it a try. I know that these older guitars have their good features but you can have a new guitar (or a near new) at the same or lower price. See the AS103 threads. Juha |
