here's a 2471nt with the "rabbit ears" inlays on the headstock. I have only seen those on the FA series and thought the 2471 had the gibson "torch" inlay. Anyhow, here's the link to a video I found online:

Gorgeous isn't it. Added pickup and controls. Wonder what pickup that is. Nice tone in the fingers too.

When I lived in Philly a good friend of mine studied with him. He is a great player and teacher.

Beatiful, relaxed and in control. Loved the "Lush Life" thrown in ending. That guitar sounds like a well-aged Armagnac in those hands. Great find, Aroee!

guess what, I just found a 2471nt of my own. It will need some fret attention but it's a real nice guitar and it has a Bartolini floating pickup which I may replace.
I did a little comparison between my Epi Broadway and the Ibanez that I put on youtube if you want to hear it. It's played through a Crate Taxi battery amp.
Here's the link:

Hey Aroee, very nice playing. About the guitars..I think the Ibanez sounds rounder.. it has the highs and the lows.. I think the Epiphone sounds good too, but with less developed low range and less body... yes, we're in a Ibanez forum... but that's what I really hear.

How is the neck of the Ibanez? I had a FG100, have a AF200 and a 2355.. I like more the shape of the neck of the 2355 but it's way too narrow for me.. the AF's is a bit wider (still not enough for me) but too thin...

aroee, you're a great player. are you a pro? it seems so.
you have a "dry" tone that reminds me 1940's guitarists, christian, django... i bet you use heavy gauge strings.

cheers p.

Hey Fg100 & Petruz,
The neck of the Ibanez is nice. It's like a medium C shape, not too chunky nor too slim. The Epi has a little slimmer C shape which I also like.
The guitar definately needs a fret job since there's a little buzz and a few spots where it's more "clunky" if you know what I mean. Also, chords don't ring evenly across the neck. A friend of mine (which daughter is a stewardess) offered to fly it up to Oklahoma city where they have a plek machine.
Thanks for commenting on my playing, I am a semi pro. I also do a few other freelance things to make ends meet...

Hey Aroee,
I LOVE your music

Maybe the Ibanez needs the action taking up a bit ?

Man I wish I could play like you !
