The markings on the back of the peg-head and the apparent lack of special inlaid on the 21st. fret seem to indicate a Korean production, yes? Ace http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7316854480&rd=1&sspagename=ST RK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 |

Man, I really hate EBay sellers who post fuzzy photos that always seem to hide the details we know will disclose exactly what they're selling! Where is the serial number...at least the first few digits to tell the production year! Where is the George Benson engraved truss rod cover that only Japanese models have? Where is the clean shot of the bound or unbound pickguard? The only thing that looks like an early GB10 is the yellowed binding...and even that could be attributed to the poor photo quality too. Is it a real 'early'GB10? A 'JS'model or BS?! I wouldn't bid on anything from a shady seller. Let's see what happens. |

I did't think it was an early Japanese GB10 because of the tuners. I don't remember seeing those oval tuners. |

It's got speed knobs, what appears to be a ROSEWOOD bridge and those weird knobs. I'd say recent production, and modded on top of it. I'd pass (but I only like BLONDE GB's). BigMike |

If any of you guys are registered on EBay, maybe you should ask the seller if he is selling a Korean 'JS'. Then see if they post the Q&A before bidding ends. Might save some unknowing bidder mucho aggravation. Caveat Emptor! |

Here's a late Japanese construction GB-10 (with "Hand-signed" label, WOW!!!) on eBay. Wonder how much this will bring. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33043&item=7318083769&rd= 1 Ace |
