Is there a difference in the sound of the small headstock micky mouse ear artstars as opposed to the pointed ear large headstock ones?

No difference Mike, its not about the headstock. Its like your Dad told you about not looking at the Mantlepiece when your stoking the fire...its all about the joys from the middle my friend that produces a quality sound :-)
