Just found an Ibanez AM66

Stony Artfield Username: Artfield Registered: 04-2001 Posted on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 - 8:54 pm:    Acetan....no modding this time...only i will replace the bridge with a Schaller 455 model which is the same as the orginal Ibanez one...the saddles are a bit worn out and have sharp edges and are a bit to high, this disturbs when playing. Stony2004 i think these pick-ups are super "58" they sound very good. sorry about the pics but since i have this new DigiCam i can't get them under 100k....will try the shoot the guitar with my old Digicm this week. It's free and pretty easy to use. You can crop unnecessary parts off the image, reduce the size (in pixels) and then save as JPEG with enough compression to get great images below 50k in size. Let me know if you need any more help. I have an AM67(!) that looks exactely the same (same color, same short-stop) I´m interested what kind of nut your AM has. Once again to the PUs: I have a AM200 with Super 58 and my AM67 PUs sound very different, much more output and a sharper edgier sound... Artfield. Congratulations on your find. I would heartily recommend the TonePros wraparound bridge as an alternate to the schaller - sustain for days... -Sven
