Pickups, bridge and tuners on my AS80

The guitar was purchased as new in Germany in 1996, but I think it may have been manufactured in 1994 (in Korea). The serial number is S4040446, which is printed on the back of the headstock. For a number of reasons, I like the instrument so much that I plan to trade another of my guitars in order to free the cash needed for upgrades.It has some shortcomings, though: Firstly, can anyone tell me what pickups I have? They don't sound too bad, but I have a feeling that I may have a shielding and/or grounding issue going, and I'd like to upgrade. What do you experts recommend for this type of instrument? By the way, I need 4-connector humbuckers, as I want to implement coil splitting for versatility. Next, I want to upgrade the bridge. I have been thinking about the TonePro locking TOM, but I don't know whether any of their models will fit the guitar without having to drill new holes in the instrument. Does anyone know? Alternative TOM bridge suggestions. Finally, I'd like advice on tuners. I have been happy with Sperzel locking tuners on another of my guitars (actually, the one I'm selling), but the ones sitting on my AS80 aren't much, really. Does anyone know whether Sperzel tuners can be fitted without too much carpentry on the headstock. They are NOT wax potted. That's why they cause microphonic feedback. Hazy (with a z) explains how you can wax pot them in a deep fryer. (Use the Search function of ICW). If you want to split the coils, the most beautiful way is if you use push-pull potmeters, like Yamaha did in the old SG-1000 and up. What pickups you should purchase to do the trick, I don't know. I don't know what sound you're after. Perhaps some Mighty Might "Mighty Buckers". $17.95 for the neck (front) and $25.00 for the rear. http://www.mightymite.com/pickups/guitar/dc/index. html If you want locking tuners, always compare Sperzel and Schaller, who has the best price depends on what colour you want: chrome, gold or black. I don't know if you will have to drill new holes. I don't understand what you want with the bridge. If you want to upgrade, a Gotoh product will probably fit, so that you don't have to drill.
