I just recently re-discovered Coltrane's Lazybird. A great song for jazz guitar. Also check out Pent up house. Anyone? |

After playing jazz for a respectable amount of time, I'll say that the tunes I wake up with on my mind are Autumn in New York, Little Sunflower, Sundown, James. I can sit and play Autumn in NY single note style, no chords, and just dwell in the beauty of such a simple melody. Same with Little Sunflower. And damn it, Wes's simplicity, it just makes so much sense. What an economical player. And Pat, where do I start, or should I? |

Ibeenjazzed, You're right, Little Sunflower is a great tune. I learned it a few years ago. I'll have to come back to that. -Sven |
