His serial number is H701377 so I think thats why he thinks it is a 1970. |

That's a nice one. You don't see too many in a burst finish. $700 seems a bit high though. -Sven |

AM50s have really gone up over the last 5 years. $860 is high. I remember when I debated buying one for $400 - wish I had. I think all the MIJ hollows and semis are going to continue to climb. We've seen huge leaps in price for the GB10, AS200, AM50 and AM205. I say buy 'em now if you can get a good price. -Sven |

asaf, in the US, they are still going for under $1000. They are not as popular as the AM205. |

this one is already for months on a dutch auction site. http://www.speurders.nl/muziekinstrumenten/elektrischegitaren/6927440/advertenti e.html these AM200 "90" are nice guitars (like the headstock very much)...but the 205's are the topmodels. The 1980-1988 periods are the best for the AM models. |

i know this dutch one, how do you guys buy safely from someone you don't know? is there anyway to use some courier in the nederlands? sven, ebay is an option, only problem it always ends up way above market price, even if you wait to the last 20 sec (which is the way i win my bids, i might bid early just in order to cancel a "buy it now" option in order to get some thinking time...) thanks for your answers asaf |
