I'd expect amounts between $100 to $150. If you import a guitar from a non-EU country, be ready to add approx. 20% of the total on customs duties and import VAT. I found a list on a site in Europe (France) if somebody is iterested and you don't know it, I can post it. (This type unfortunately is not on it) As a newbe I already noticed that prices in Europe are on the avarage at least 20% higher than in the US. People in Europe try to ask the(USD)pricelevel in Euro's for their boxes. Smaller solid-bodies can travel for less.. Cheapest one I´ve bought came for 65.75 usd, un-insurenced.. As for the avg prices, there is an excellent table here at ICW, and about the prices in Europe, sometimes they follow the dollar-price directly, I´ve found out.. Of course there are duties, customs fees etc. when you import goods from outside of the Union.. Even if you buy from a private person, the seller has to include a so called "pro forma invoice". If there is no invoice included, you have to submit a prove of payment like the PayPal invoice, for example. If the seller includes an invoice of US$100 and the guys at the customs office believe that's the correct value, you've been lucky. If they don't buy the story, demand a prove of payment from you and discover the small difference of US$900, they will take you to court for tax evasion. Another thing to consider is the insurance value: If a value of US$100 is entered in the customs declaration, that is also the max. amount the insurance of the post office would pay if the guitar has been damaged or stolen. And there's also an FA-700, and a 2470 listed, plus I think there's a 1980 AS-200? Ebay is primarily a sellers market these days, so I don't expect these to be auctioned off at affordable prices. Why did I have to be broke right now?
