I just got my 2000 AS80 and I love it...everything but the tuners. What are the best tuners to go with (without having to redrill holes?) It doesn't look like there are any screws in these... |

You're right, it doesn't look look like there are any screws. Here is the part: http://www.ibanez.com/parts/2000_PARTS/El-Guitar/PARTS-PICT/2MH1CG333C.htm#2MH1C G333C I'm not sure if there is an upgraded tuner out there that will mount without drilling small screw holes. If you are willing to drill small holes, I would highly recommend Gotohs. Gotoh makes the tuners for many of the higher end Ibanez models. My personal favorite are the Delta 510 locking tuners. |

I second the Gotoh 510's. mine are the non-locking 510's super machines which I prefer and never slip a bit. I put some Gotoh 510's also on a AK85 and it totally improved the intonation. They are worth the 75-80 bucks! |
