looks cool! I just got a AG85 from MF. It's different than all the others I've seen because the highest 4 abalone inlays are inset into pearl like the lower ones. My AK85 has abalone inlayed directly into the rosewood on the 4 highest markers. The AG85 also has a one piece bubinga venner on the front and back - all the others I've seen are bookmatched two piecers. Its a great guitar so far and I like it better than the AF105F I sold on Ebay! The neck feels nicer and the sound is way better for some reason acoustically.(I use GHS Brite Flats 11-50 medium s on all my archtops, available at juststrings.com) The Artcores are great! Peace Ibanez AG85TRD -tight and articulated, yet deep Ibanez AK85DVS - smoooooooooothhhh tone. Guild X180 Park Avenue -even smoooooothhhher tone. Martin Cowboy II Washburn XB100 Bahntam Bass sold: Ibanez AF105F (nice, but not as nice as my AG85,imho). Ibanez AS83 (wish I kept that one) |
