Looks to be late 70's. AS200ish in body shape. Red/Walnut finish. Non speed knob style gibby looking tone and vol knobs. Trapese tail piece ala FG100. Sorry for the vague discription. Going from a single lousy photo and limited discription. Bay area guys it's listed in CL.

Sounds like it could be an SA400. take a look at this thread:

Thanks Johns. Very similar to the SA400 minus the pickguard and the varitone switch. This has old gibson style tophat vol/tone knobs. Waiting for more info from the seller. Did find out from the serial # it's a '77

Another shout out to you Johns. In an early post (1977 Ibanez 2467WN) Harry shows a pic of his 2457. Just like the one in question down to the finish (brownish see through) and tophat knobs,tailpiece. Can anyone? Harry? share some particulars and opinions on these? Pups? Seller wants 700 OBO. Decent price? Would it complement my AM50 or more of the same?
