Does anybody have any info on this particular model. I believe circa 1970. I would like more info on value/history before I purchase. Thank you. |

Hi Kspurge67 That's a nice and pretty rare model. After 5 years of collecting the copy models I still haven't been able to lay my hands on one. Technical specifications are placed above by John And the only thing I could add: if the guitar is in good and original condition, if the price is right (I think a fair price would be around 500 dollars - any price lower: don't think twice) and you like it: well go for it! Let us know the "continuing story" Kind greetz, Harry |

Well I don't know about the Ibanez pictured (nice looking guitar by the way) but it appears to be a sort of replica to the Gibson Rosewood Crest. I say SORT OF because the Crest had a set neck, minihumbuckers that were screwed onto the top of the instrument and a slightly different tailpiece. But this is a lovely "replica". I've only seen a handful of the Gibson models and most have the finish checking prevalent in late 60's early 70's instruments (when the Crests were produced). |
