I'd like to hear your feelings on the neck. From what I've read, it's supposed to be a compound radius neck. The only time I got to try one out, the neck seemed chunkier than the Artist. Both the front and back are perfectly bookmatched flame maple. I've not seen this quality on other JSM's. That is what seduced me to jump on this used one. Amazing! I'm currently on vacation, so delivery has been pushed back to 1/4/06 to avoid it sitting on my front porch. I'll be happy to write a comparative review after a thorough test drive. Yours looks much more like a fine instrument should.
