Ace" Yeah, the Uniteds looked really cool. I was waiting for the following years NAMM show to check one out and they were discontinued before the show. Oh well! Sure, they are called: GB10 and JSM100! I'd like to see Ibanez produce a mid-level semi-hollow or solidbody model series, just below the Prestige series. I think that's what the Artcore Custom, the 103 and 105 series guitars are supposed to be. They are priced between the Prestiges and the regular Artcores. And they have a decent quality level. I've noticed a difference of built quality between a 2003 and a current Artcore. Maybe over time, it will approach those of the vintage Japanese productions. By 2010 perhaps? Plays well, sounds fine, stays in tune. I'm not a pro player by any standards but in my opinion this is a very well made guitar. I do have a Gibson LP Classic and Gibson Lucille. IMO this guitar plays just as well. A decent reasonably priced guitar from China?
