Hey all, I've had this '82 AM-205 for a few years. I got it for a STEAL (about $400) a few years ago, because of the sahep it was in. It is pretty beaten up and though i've been playing it as my main guitar for the last few years, i haven't done much to it. It came with its original HSC, which is also VERY beat up. I was hoping to find a new, protective, SKB-type case for it, but given the size, it doesn't seem that it would fit in a 335-sized case. Do i have any options besides custom ordering one? Brian |

The AM100C should be a perfect fit: http://www.zzounds.com/item--IBAAM100C |

I got an AM-100C (the European version, made in China - don't know if they are different, I used to think the American cases are made by TKL) for my '83 AM-100 and it's way too big. You have to pad it thoroughly to prevent the guitar from moving. I'm still looking for a good fitting case. Dave. |

Dave, I have an AM50C which is a really nice, well made case, probably a TKL. It has an arched top and lush padding. It fit my AM300 like a glove, but the horns on my AM200 are a little wide across the top. It still fits, but the widest part across the horns (about 9 7'8") is an inch too low on the case. It certainly works though. -Sven |
