Dave, I just sold one of these in the cherry color...ya don't see them too often. The one I sold had a stop pc bridge (like the 1978 catalog). These are very nice guitars ! BTW...mine sold for $995 US |

Dave..I think the AS is a Maple guitar, the SA is birch. The SA guitar is also STEREO and has a varitone type switch. As far as the build goes, they are both very nice !Sound quality is quie good, although the Super 80's can be a bit bright for some folks...I thionk the SA is an underappreciated guitar (and under priced at the moment) |

Funny how the walnut finish SA currently for sale in Europe has already steped over the $1000 mark and yet Dave(g), your one took a couple of goes to sell. Personally I preferred your cherry stop tail to this one. The walnut now reminds me of those horrid 70's Norlin 335's. six |
