Ibanez 2355 to sell

Author Message   Ciencio Username: Ciencio Registered: 4-2007 Posted on Sunday, April 22, 2007 - 2:06 pm:    Hello guys, I'm thinking about selling my Ibanez 2355 and, while searching for information about it's value, I found this nice forum. Here are some specs: - Ibanez 2355, no serial number (pre '75?) - I haven't got it's original case, only one that suites it. - almost perfect, just a little pin just above the PU selector - sunburst - it sounds really nice (expecially if played by someone that's not me). What else is needed to give a value to this wonderful jazzbox? Since I gave up playing a long time ago I found it stupid to keep such a good guitar in a closet, it doesn't deserve such a bad treatement, it deserves to be played! I was thinking about putting it on ebay, I just don't know about shipping way. What do you suggest? P.S. You can even sell it only inside Italy to save yourself of some "trouble". In a good condition it can easily make 800 euros, but often they make even more. The important thing is you'd like to put it on ebay, put good quality photos with it and make an accurate description of what it is. Those guitars, they sell really good. I also think that if you don't like the ebay thing, maybe post it here in the free classifieds zone, this forum has a few members from Italy and maybe you can work something out. The highest price on ebay for a 2355 to this day was a blond one, they usually go for higher with a "lawsuit" headstock (which looks the same to the Gibson mustache headstock) and was very clean.   Ciencio Username: Ciencio Registered: 4-2007 Posted on Monday, April 23, 2007 - 1:05 pm:    I just discover that my 2355 has got a serial number, In the label inside the guitar there's no serial number and I'd never watched behind the headstock :-( Well it is August 77, tulip headstock. P.S. somewhere I read that 2355 were bult untill '75, so i'm a bit confused now: How can it be a 77?
