Hey Y'all. I'am new. Just received my first Ibanez; an AF84EDVS. Non cut-away and something real different. I also own a Gibson L4CES. This Ibanez is the bomb! I was disappointed when I EXHAUSTIVELY A/B'd it with the Gibson. It handedly matched the Gibson in playability, feel, sound and looks. I'am REAL impressed with this guitar and wonder how they do it for such a reasonable price. The neck is the FINEST and I warmly welcome this AX into my home. I feel I've been suckah-punched into the next world. I have a new favorite and the Gibby is getting a well deserved rest. Not too many Gibson owners will admit that little tidbit but I PROUDLY will.
I love Jazz guitar and I play through a Fender Accoustsonic Junior. Thanks for the sound-off and Chow. (;^)~

That is some recommendation! I'm glad to hear that you are happy and that it didn't cost you lots of money to find it.

If you are thinking about giving away your L4CES, put me on the list. :-)

T' hee hee hee. Not so f a s t there Johns. But really, it is SO close in all catagories. I can just sit and LOOK at this guitar and get a vibe - like a 1930's Gibson L5. Real rich tone. The look of it just blows-me-out-of-the-water. It is SO me. And yes, I DO jus ADORE BUICKS! (;^)~
