congratulaitions! i think you have a very nice december 1985 (L85) made GB10. it's a FugiGen; terada-made guitars had "T" as first digit. by the way, are you a luthier? |

Terada gave all guitars they made for Hoshino a letter "H" as first character for "Hoshino" (so NOT "T"). But that started 1987 (second serial numbering system). And then they used only the last digit of the year. (So H70xxxx was 1987 and H80xxxx was 1988 and H90 was 1989). After 10 years they needed another system, because in 1997 they would have been back at H7 again. Petruz, read his post about the CITES list carefully, then you know who his is. Ginger |

stbatz, i like the tone of the PM100. i have only three complaints about this guitar (very personal though): 1- the neck could be a little more slim (my ideal neck is that of the GB10/GB30); 2- the guitar could weight a little less; 3- i would prefer if it was 65mm (as the FG100) instead of 80mm profound. i say that because it's impossible to me to play this guitar standing, and because it feedbacks easily. if i could snap my finger and transform the PM100 in a GB10 i think i would do it... by the way, how do you compare these two instruments? |
