This time he's playing his one-of-a-kind blonde/natural GB12NT in front of an all star orchestra lead by George Duke! Benson's performance of the Miles Davis tune, "All Blues" is followed by the 'Mahavishnu Man' himself, John McLaughlin. (Big Mike, look familiar?) Turn up your speakers and enjoy! I wish he'd put out a more guitar oriented performance DVD. By the way, I've read that his instructional DVD will be launched later this month. Unfortunately Larry had a little problem with the soundman and can hardly hear himself over Stanley Clark and the rest of the gang. Good jam though... The quality of that show I had left a lot to be desired - the one in the link was pretty clean. And I double the sentiment posted earlier: it would sure be nice seeing GB do more guitar oriented performances. Sadly most of his fans are people buying his hits, that and George loves to sing. Dennis Chambers on drums! I agree, it would be fantastic if GB would release a DVD more focused on his guitar playing. Nothing against his singing, but for me he could resort to scat sing-along singing, just to give more room for his guitar. Never seen a blond GB12 before, did not even know they existed. Bjorn Aaron Username: Aaron Registered: 01-2004 Posted on Tuesday, April 04, 2006 - 10:32 pm:    This great clip comes from the Guitar Expo in Seville Spain in the early 90's..George played 2 other songs as well...Valdez in the Country and Being with you. Why they don't release these concerts on DVD is anyone's guess. That RARE Blond GB12 is now owned by Prince and he can be seen playing some very tasty licks on it in his DVD "Live at Alladins". George gave it to him as a thankyou for some recording done at Prince's Paisley Park studios which showed up on the That's Right C.D. There's a new Hotlicks DVD of GB's coming out later this month called "The Art of Jazz guitar" also for some great playing from George in his prime check out the "Live in Montreaux" released a few months back. There's a great quote from Pat Metheny where he say's "If I could sing like George I wouldn't play so much guitar either, in fact I'd rarely talk as I'd be singing all the time" Cheers!
