I got one of these, but haven't had a chance to use it. Probobly more suited to a Jem. http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7390694252 |

thanks man very interesting...does the seller has a regular website ? I'mn't really an ebay guy. The Fretboards are cheap so..i would take the risk its for my FG100 mod...but i'mn't sure it will fit...Dutch Top Luthier Patrick Koopman (who worked for Steve Vai overhere when he was touring) will do the job..the guy is a master in modding and ofcourse in building too. http://www.pkguitars.nl |

This thread came up before somewhere a few months back. I just think you need to be careful when buying fretboards. If they haven't been prepared properly they can split amongst other things. Last thing you want is a splitting fingerboard on a finished guitar. Quality has to prevail over price on this one and I would want some kind of approval time so that the buyer can inspect it (if you are skilled) or get it inspected by the Luthier who is going to fit the thing. six |
