I am planning on replacing the pickups in my AS73 and wanted to know if anyone has a wiring diagram for this guitar. I have not been able to find anything on the Ibanez website or anywhere else using Google searches. I would really like to change the switch to do a "neck - split coil - bridge" setup instead of the standard "neck - both - bridge" arrangement. John |

Here is the wiring diagram http://www.ibanez.com/wiring/wire.asp?y=2005&w=AS It looks like the stock PUs are not splitable. You may have to replace the puckups and get creative with switching to accomplish this. There are some good diagrams (and parts) here: http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/ |

Thanks, that helps a lot. I am putting a set of the GFS "Liverpool" Pickups in. So far the install is going OK, I just need to change one of the stock pots so I have one with a push/pull switch to do the coil splitting. John |
