Hi all, my first post!
I'm planning on swapping the pickups on my
Artcore AG85, for a Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB combination. I know several of you have already been down that road. Looking inside with a mirror the pups seem to need long wires direct to the knobs, not short ones direct to the toggle switch. Complicated!
So ... question ... has anyone put to gether a "How To" containing a wiring diagram and maybe a few step by step photos? Is there an "official" wire diag for the artcore series?
I searched the forum but alas could not find ... |

So it looks like you pull the caps of the volume control, unscrew the nut, push the pot into the body and then pull the pot out of the F-hole with a hook, unsolder the pup, replace the pup with the new one, catch the wires and solder onto the pot. Put the pot back where it came from.
Is that about it? |
