Is it a 335 or LR10 being played during this '80s Tonite Show performance by Captain Fingers?

I saw him perform around that time at the Montreux Jazzfestival where he used a wine red 335. i assume it's the same guitar.

Headstock is Tulip shaped. My money is on LR10.

Cheers,

Tulip shaped headstock, subtle wolf ear cutaways, and slightly lighter fretboard (new Brazilian Rosewood) all seem to indicate LR10 to me also. Also Rit's 335's were all Red, but this is obviously a burst in the black and white photo.

My eyes aren't what they used to be, so younger eyes help solve the mystery.

Any other guesses?

I'm also willing to bet that it's an LR10. The only Gibson Rit plays is the cherry red one (to my knowledge).

I'll say LR10, too.

That's Ernie Watts on sax, Abraham Laboriel on bass can't see the rest. Maybe Alex Acuna playing the drums for a change?

Anyone?

Oh yeah. It could be the thru-neck model.

i'd say it's an LR10 by the size of the headstock and horns. 335s have small headstocks
