Dear Members, could you inform me where to get an Ibanez Veneer Headstock....compleet with the Ibanez Logo, and the ornament on it. Like the Artist, AM205/AS100,200 series. In one of the postings is saw a restoration of an artist and the person had the veneer headstock removed. Also a copy of the ornament could do the job too. maybe Petruz ahs an Idea he is a Photoshop master. As you know we are modding my AM66 and it would be nice to have that Ornament on the headstock. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks Artfield something this

If I can do the job with Photoshop, no problem. But I don't think you need a virtual veneer, do you? You could scan the veneer with a high resoution scanner and maybe print it... (god, this idea sucks). You could get the scannered ornament to an artisan and get it done for yoy... many €€€€€ though. Maybe in the USA, I remember reading something here in ICW about a guy who engraves fretboards. |

HI Petruz , thanks very very idea much i was thinking about that too... i have to replace some strings on one of my AM205's so than i will scan the head stock, i think my luthier can engrave the logo in the headstock if he has an example. |

Artfield, the veneer is rosewood. I think a good luthier could duplicate it as Petruz said. |
