Got there too late. It was a prime candidate for the MIK Artstar orphanage. Although, I might be moving toward a MC200/MC300. Still thinking. Rick |

Guitartim, The seller does not only give us a year, he's giving us a very good picture of the label with the handwritten serial number, and... as a language teacher I know that handwriting! Thank you VERY MUCH for this link! You just solved my serial number problem. Whoopie! There always was this unidentified digit: was it a 4 or a 7? But no: it's a bloody 5! This blonde one has serial nr C5xxxxxx, which means: made by Cort in 1995. I know about the scarfed neck/headstock attachments. On a blonde one it's pretty ugly. On a sunburst it's hidden under masking paint. I once had the opportunity to buy an Epiphone Broadway NT for €500.- and I didn't take it either. But this is a very ecological way to produce necks. And as long as it plays well and I don't see it, I don't care. I judge instruments by their feel, sound and looks. Thanks again, Guitar Tim, Ginger |
