Did we change over or revert back to the old?

MK:

Phase 1, moving physically to a new server and hosting company, is complete. If everything looks and acts the same then it was a success. :-)

Our new accommodations will allow us the room to grow. One thing we are trying to do is switch to a new Discussion Board software that is more flexible and powerful. One of the reasons we had such a hard time with this transfer (I've already moved twice before) was that the current board software is just not very "portable".

I haven't noticed any glitches John.

BTW, you have mail regarding those SD's but I know you've been busy.

I tried to start a new thread, but got this error message

50 characters is like two sentences !

Dave:

Are you saying that you used more than 50 characters in your subject line and it wouldn't take it? That is a limit that I can change.

You may want to send it again, as I don't see anything from you in my inbox.

John, am I wrong or... in the past as a new post was made to a thread, I think that thread would move to the top of the board. Now it doesn't seem like that's happening. The post does show up in the thread but... the thread doesn't move to the top of the board. Is this correct or... is it just another bad batch of heroin?

Congrats, John! It had to be a lot of work.

I hafta agree with Dave... I was starting to get the shakes.

Now that the server move is done, when will the new software happen?

NOT impatient... just curious.

Bob:

I don't see what you are describing. In what list are the threads not ordered with the most recent thread on top?

John, I think Jchester sees it too. The main thread. Vintage Electrics thread. In the past, when anyone posted, that thread moved to the top of the main board. Now, it doesn't seem to work that way. Look at the thread, then look at the dates of the posts, you'll see they are slightly out of chronilogical order. Hey John, I did 2 posts yesterday that "disappeared", one in the Scruggs thread and one in the Miscellaneous section where I posted a new group shot of my axes. Did you delete those posts? They seemed to post for a few minutes and then... they were gone. I'll try again.

John, the "out-of-chronilogical-order" thingy is happenning in this miscellaneous section as well.
