I bought a pair of pickups on a whim and they're just what I was looking for. Now, I'd like to get another pair *exactly* like them. All I know is that they came from an Ibanez Artcore. I have no clue what year/model/etc. The bottom of the pups have no markings of any kind other than N and B stamped into them. I suspect they're fairly new or were immediately removed years ago and stuffed into a box for safe keeping. The chrome is still mirror bright and the mounting rings look brand new. Is there any way to determine what year these pups are? Thanks, - Pete |

Only chrome pickups on Artcores have been ACH1 (N, neck) and ACH2 (B, bridge), as far as I know. They are not rated very high here on ICW but I think they do their job on my AGS83. Year is between first Artcores in 2002 and 2007. Juha |

I was going to point out the auctions for the "Ibanez 85" pups on eBay but see you're already on them, Peter. |

I have the following guitars on the wall in my family room (in this order) and I cycle through them about 3 or 4 times a day. The V gets a great deal of attention: 1990-ish Fernandes Telecaster, sunburst, white binding, stock 1975 Greco Les Paul, cherry sunburst, modded to approach Frank Zappa's LP 2003 AS103NT 1976 2387CT (the Korina V) 1978 MC400NT And around and around I go. -Chuck |
