Are these for real? i bought a pair. There is no ibanez stamp or 58 stamp on the pickup??? did i get ripped... Ebay Item #200171678161 |

Ripped? It depands.. Those are the "new" Super 58's I think..Those that are in Korean AR*s. There is another thread, in which you can see a pict of "vintage" Super 58. Main differencies are: 3-hole mounting system - 2-hole system. And if you look closely, te baseplates have different number of cable-holes.. not to mention that stamped "Super 58"- text. But I think that the price was not too expensive for a pair of *buckers. Only my opinion, if you intended to buy a pair of Nisshin Onpa Seisakusho-made vintage pickups you may well feel being ripped.. |

No i did not think they were vintage. i was questioning whether they were what he described; new ibanez S58's from an ar300. thanks fox, i feel a little better now. i think. for better or worse these will be installed in my Electra 335 on monday..hopefully i will like them.. if not.???? |
