Believe it or not, this bass was stripped all the way down to the wood. My best friend Pat repainted it for me, and added a the stripes to make this bass reminiscent of a musician for me, since they are my favorite basses. What do you think?? |

This '85 MC924 w/active electronics is the best sounding bass I have ever owned. I hardly ever play it now because of its weight. Ace

No way Ace!! The 1980 MC-924 is the best...not one thing comes close, except for an 86 924 |

I may be wrong but I thought '85 was the last year for MC924s which became MC2924 in 1986. Ace |

yup!! That is correct, I used to have a fretless 2924 in natural maple. Incredible bass |
