For quite some time i've been looking around for a good gig bag made for es-175 sized guitars. Google, eBay, name it... until now i haven't found anything at all. Currently I have the guitar in a Ritter gig bag made for es-335 style guitars - it works... but it is really_really a bit to small :-( Perhaps somebody can suggest something, or guide me to a website? I can. I tried many gigbags over the years but I found out only one that's really good for an archtop. The musicstore superdeluxe gigbag for acoustic guitar suits the archtops perfectly. Smaller ones, but even my L-5 copy is a perfect fit. It's a very rugged gigbag, not expensive at 29 euros, if you're in europe you can simply order from http://www.musicstore.com and click on a store where you're living in. It's super comfortable to carry around on your back. It also has two big storage pockets for your cables, tuner, everything you need. I liked that case so much that I've got three more of these (but for smaller electric guitar bodies). The link for the bag that suits you is: http://www.musicstore.de/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity /WFS/MusicStore-MusicStoreShop-Site/en_EN/-/EUR/Vi ewProductDetail-Start;pgid=?SKU=GIT0004127-003&Pro ductUUID=0&JumpTo=OfferList |

thx a lot! i'm lucky being in europe :-) to me it sounds a bit strange with "western guitar bag" but i trust you. also the pockets seems to be clever - now a days its hard to find a gig bag NOT having some 5-10 pockets and bunch of zippers. |

In German "westerngitarre" means acoustic guitar. They have this case for a smaller solidbody, a thicker one for a classical or the bigger one I suggested you. |

something is weird with this thread... in the listing it's named AWAY ON VACATION but the title i gave it was "How to find a gig bag for es-175 style guitar". And that's the title that also appears on top of this page. How I wish I was on vacation... |

tristan, i have one exactly equal, but without the store's brand. mine is made by gewa. very nice and sturdy, fits well 335 or 175 type guitars. jastroem, check this one out... seems to be really good... http://www.tone-toys.de/de/Super_Gigbags.html by the way, tone-toys is terrific place for the pick-obsessed guitarists. |

Jastroem, It's very common in Germany to order a shipment and pay by delivery. I got most of my furniture that way too. |

jastroem, i discovered that site years ago searching for dugain picks. the guys are very gentle and professional. i was willing to get one of those "super" gigbags but i live in italy so i'd have to pay some extra €€€ for the delivery, making it too expensive. i like the idea of the internal foam pads. |

they charged me EURO 16 for shipping which is - compared to switzerland where i live - not too expensive. a "normal sized" 1-2 kilo package to sweden (where i come from) costs around EURO 17.50 i also ordered some strange picks from these guys. yes, they seem to be serious and friendly! |
