http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQsassZsurftilldeath these guitars aren't ibanez, but it seems like an interesting "collection"... just a bit odd that the seller describes each guitar the same way, claims to know nothing about guitars and refuses to answer emails. i'm equal parts curios and suspicious... what do you think? |

Well, its more convincing than some other "I don't know anything about guitars" auctions where the seller belies his supposed ignorance by using terms a non guitarist wouldn't. |

Milli, the Jason is from the Tama factory where these guitars were made and Jason was a brand name that Ibanez made guitars for the Australian distributor back then ( late 50' & 60's ). Also there is a old Ibanez Raphale Calle with its distinctive green mother of pearl inlays in the neck, that one would be from the late 30's. My guess its only be someone who wants Ibanez "The Untold Story" in the flesh would buy these guitars, still it great to see a bit of our beloved Ibanez history up for grabs from time to time. Hi Cap, Since I don't have the book, can you tell me who is Ibanez Raphale Calle? Is that a person or a model? Steve |
