Seems like dogs have been mentioned frequently by the ICW members. So let's devote a thread to our fans that patiently listen to us practice, regardless of how bad it sounds. This is Riley, he's an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel. These pictures were taken 3 and 4 years ago.

This is Beaver Dam,she's 15. This is her brother Boozer. He's 16.He's the one responsible for chewing on the headstock of my black Rocket Roll back when he was a pup. And this is Cherub. She's 9.An unexpected addition 9 years ago when some loser decided to toss her from a 3rd story when she was 10 weeks old.Broke both her front legs, growth plates,etc...We sprung for the medical attention needed and fostered until she healed but during that time she became one of the family.Because she was so young when it happened she healed great. Not even a limp and runs like the wind.

Great thread John! Captain, sorry to hear about your first mate. I love daschunds. Ccs, my hat's off to you for doing the right thing! This is Elsie posing with my FG100. She's a pitbull mix. She will be 5 this year. We got her at the local pound. She is very fond of citrus fruit, particularly limes, and she stops traffic with her good looks This is Rocky, also a pitbull. We were fostering him for about 6 months. I was a very musical dog. One day, when I was playing in a high pitched sort of howling kind of way, Rocky joined in and started singing the blues! Pitbulls have been experiencing some bad times lately here in the Bay Area. I have a lot of experience with the bread But I can assure you that they don't regularly eat 10 year old boys for lunch. What initially attracted me to this bread is that they can be VERY loving and have great personalities. Unfortunately, they are very misunderstood, and often end up in the wrong hands, which can be disastrous. So don't believe all the media hype and misinformation you hear - They know that fear sells. You don't have to buy it. -Sven |

Wonderful pics everybody.very nice to see. Sven,I agree about the pittbull's.All of mine have pitt in them, the gold one being SharPei/Pitt mix and I used to work with a Pitt rescue league in the past and they are a very misunderstood breed. It's the scum that mistrain and misuse them that are the problem. And a very sad problem it is. And speaking of very sad,my good buddy Boozer pictured earlier in this thread passed on last night after a brief battle with, well, basicly old age.A true friend to the end.Born in my room at the old band house and even went on the road with us a few times back in the day.I miss him dearly already. |

Here is my dog trying to jam with her tongue. This cheap imitation guitar says "stargazer on the headstock" I found it in the neighbors trash can.

Thats our labrador retriever named Lucy. We got her as an adult from Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. We think she's about 8 years old. Although we don't give her much discipline, she's really a joy to have around and doesn't get into too much mischief. |

Ccs. Sorry to hear about your loss. Ibanezfreak, Dan Earlwine says that saliva is the best way to clean an older guitar. You may be on to something there -Sven |

Ccs: I'm very sorry to hear about Boozer. At least you had 16 years with him and it sounds like lots of good memories. Boozer sounds like a good name for a guitar. |
