Hi guys,
Here's someone using the Bob Weir guitar as an inspiration. Looks pretty nice though.

As the custom truss rod cover is for 'Bruce' I guess he's aiming for the Aussie market (Sorry mates down under - couldn't resist it)

Personlly - Its a bit crass to me.

Yes, it's really gorgeous but a little overdone somehow, I feel. Strangely enough, the price doesn't seem to be moving much.

I think that is one of those situations where seeing it IN PERSON translates it's subtle beauty more. There is a lot of work in those instruments - if you look he has a similiar guitar with a BUY IT NOW of $700.00. I came across his stuff online last year and really considered an acoustic with some amazing angels and flowers on it.

Guys...I own several of these-both accoustic and solid body...Yea they are beautiful but the instruments are very middle of the road quality, real cheap hardware and PUPS. It took a LOT of tinkering to get these where they are actually playable and not just pretty. I just wish they would use a quality instrument to put all that artistic labor into....

Dave, I agree.. I have purchased mandolin Parts (bridge and pickguard) and the work was quite spectacular at first inspection.. Then the trouble starts.. The inlays crack and fall out and the parts are not well machined so the look kind of rough around the edges.. Alot of work needs to be performed on these to make them useable.. I was tempted at one stage as well to buy one of his instruments but read through his EVILBAY feedback and you will see.

Yikes! Quite right about the feedback but considering the amount of positive he gets, it's not too bad. But I also noticed a lot of the feedbacks were the same people repeating their post several times.
It would be cool if he would get a real standard Les Paul and apply the inlays on it. He will surely get a premium for that.
