'68 Melody Maker SG 12 string

Author Message Ccs Username: Ccs Registered: 03-2001 Posted on Friday, July 15, 2005 - 11:47 pm:    I'm posting these just because I think their cool.I've always loved the rare and oddball stuff.That's whats fun about vintage Ibanez.Anyway...I've been looking for a old and odd Gib SG and recently scored a '72 SG Special with factory Bigsby and while I was checking some things out about it I found these two 1968 Melody Maker XII's.And both in custom colors,Pelham Blue and Crimson Metallic.Right around the corner in Ithaca.I never even knew they made these.I love it when you run into something new and unexpected.Anybody else ever seen or own one of these? And,after reading back the top post,It sounds like I bought these,but I didn't.I just ran into them.I'd like to own them but at $2500 each I have to pass. I'm very happy with my '72 special.And so far I can't find another one like it.
