A little short notice, but I'm in LA today. If any one wants to grab a drink and/or a show (Mike Landau!) let me know.

John, it was another amazing night at the Baked Potato.

On Saturday, I saw Mike Landau with Abraham Laboriel on bass, Greg Mathieson on keys and Gary Novax on drums. They were all amazing - Seeing Abe Laboriel is quite an experience! It was an absolutely killer show.

On Friday, I saw another killer lineup consisting of Bunny Brunell on bass, Mike Miller on guitar, Patrice Rushen on keys and Simon Phillips on drums (from Toto). I ran into Bunny Brunell at Carvin the next day and had a nice conversation.

I've also seen Allan Holdsworth, Cosmosquad, and Tony MasAlpine at this club. Every time I was able to move to the front row for the second set, and mingle with the band members between sets.
