Stationc, these are the Ibanez Ergodyne Bass guitar stands that they issued for use in store as part of the point of sale displays for the new model Ergodyne Series Basses at the time. They were only avaliable in 2000 if my memory is correct.
You can put guitars on them but..it can be a bit scary as to how certain models sit in them. They were made specially for the basses .
