hi all im looking for a vintage distortion pedal my mate has a black ross distortion pedal and he claims it s the best what do you think is the best |

Are you talking out and out distortion or just plain old overdrive Mini? If you are talking distortion then I still rate the MXR Distortion plus. It still does that 70's rock sound real good. I've heard the reissue Fuzz Face is pretty cool too with Denis Cornell updates. http://www.dc-developments.com/ six |

hi six were talking plain old distortion what would sound best on my ibanes 2354 with bigsby style trem any ideas on a good small anp thanks |

Hi again, Would have thought the MXR would do nicely but try first. Small amp's...hmm I like the Laney LC15 or the Crate Vintage Club series. I think they do a 20w version. Both makes are all tube and sweet sounding and can be bought pretty cheap too. Best upgrade you can do on a small amp is the speaker. Replace a cheapo speaker with something like a G12H or a Weber if it's a Fender style circuit. six |
