Hi all,
I'm a new guy to the board (well kinda, i read through here every now and then)

To my latest dilemma..
I've got an AR200, I just got a new pair of pickups for it (five wire), and I am looking at splitting them, most likely using push/pull pots. Problem is, I've never done this before and I dont want to screw it up. Does anyone here know how to, or better still, done it?

Tom, if you can solder, it is relatively easy.. :-) There is a lot of diagrams eg. at www.guitarelectroncs.com or www.dimarzio.com.

Yep, that's me. 8 Ibanez in the household and been fixing guitars since about 1979. Wonder why I own so many Ibanez? Quality and ease of setup, for a couple reasons.

More diagrams here:

Also a great, fast source for electronic parts.
