I spent several hours playing some Andersons yesterday. I was very impressed with the workmanship and tone of these guitars, but I have to say the Ibanez Prestige models compare very favorably in terms of build quality. I really like some of the hollow Anderson designs, the Drop-top, Cobra and Atom are terrific guitars.

I hear ya, Funk. If I could smoke one past the little woman, an Anderson would be in my closet in a hearbeat.

Check out this incredible Anderson T Classic 'Tele':

My wife and I have a "don't ask. don't tell" policy on guitars :-)

I've sold a few, and I have a little money in the guitar fund. The tough part is deciding which one.

I used to have a 'classic' with a Floyd and the 'Switcheroo' system on the pickups that also had the three position paralell/series mini switches on the back.

The Switcheroo drove me nuts so I sold it. Guitar played like a dream though.

The "switcharoo" is 3 mini toggles, one for each pickup, like on the original sabre. The ultimate in flexibility, but tough to make quick pickup changes. Anderson offers a 5-way blade switch as well.

Yeah I could of changed the plate and the switching to a more standard layout but I think I took a trade on a 1960 330 at the time so no contest
