Does anyone know what effects Dickey betts uses to get that violin sound out of his guitar? |

Ill take a crack at this one. A hollow body es-335 type guitar bridge pickup on thru a up tube amp Small fender amp and possibly a tube screamer in the middle maybe a Compressor and then its all he hands i can get a convincing type betts tone with my AS120 like this have fun |

Russ: Are you talking about that 'violin-ish' attack he gets at the beginning of 'Liz Reed' for example? If so, it's all in the volume control...strike the string and roll on the volume. Star, Just didn't want to overlook the obvious. |
