Laaz: It's probably not ebay at all. Sounds like your browser has been compromised/hijacked and your actually being rerouted to a scam website that is pretending to be ebay. Check the actual URL after you type in www.ebay.com, it should say: http://www.ebay.com/. If you use the "Sign In" link, it should read: https://signin.ebay.com. If it says anythig else, you are definitely not at the legit ebay site. You should write down the URL and turn the site into ebay as soon as you can get to the legit site. |

Download and run the following two programs: Spybot Search and Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html (3 downloads, first the program 1.4 then the updates for detection and tools) Use the advanced mode and use the TeaTimer (resident) and Ad-Aware SE Personal http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Run them in this order to remove your spyware and adware. Download Sygate Personal Firewall 5.6 http://www.tucows.com/preview/213160 to prevent your computer from leaking information behind your back. Greetz, Ginger Ale |
