GREETINGS,
I JUST WANTED TO WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING. AND IF I MAY, SHARE A LITTLE OF WHAT I'M THANKFUL FOR.
1ST- MY LOVELY WIFE Of OVER 22 YEARS (on occasion lets me buy yet another giter) MY 12 YEAR OLD SON WHO IS SMART AS A WHIP AND VERY POLITE, a JOB THAT LETS ME AFFORD A GITER OR TWO.
ALSO THIS SITE AND ALL OF ITS MEMBERS, SINCE JOINING I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH KNOWLEDGE AND ENTERTAINMENT.

Bob and everyone else, Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I smell the turkey cooking now as I type. Spaten Optimator beer in hand and one of my guitars sitting on the stand next to me waiting to be played, a lovey family and ICW. Life is good! And I am thankful everyday for it. |

Hey all of you ICW folk around the world and here in the USA. Happy Thanksgiving! I just read my post from last year and its pretty much the same today. I have the same kind of beer in the icebox but at 7:47 AM, I think I'll wait before I crack one open. Anyway have a great day with family and friends! |

Our Thanksgiving day (like many of our holidays) has roots in ancient harvest traditions. But it IS good to stop and think about what we have. And anything that brings friends and family together can't be all bad, can it? |

Happy Thanksgiving all friends, in these days of the Internet we are more connected, unite. Thanksgiving is somewhat unknown here in Northern Europe, but we, of course, have also our own ancient harvest traditions and holidays!

Watching the news over here, I saw the Sesame Street float in the Macy's Parade. I didn't realise Big Bird was so good looking in the flesh.

The equivalent to Thanksgiving Day in Australia would probably be Australia Day, January 26, where we also celebrate the arrival of the first settlers. Likewise, we have functions and barbecues happening - although the turkey would have been consumed approximately a month earlier.
